Membership Costs
The only monitary cost for membership is your annual membership dues, which help the club pay for administrative expenses. Dues for the Columbia Lions Club are $80 and can be paid over time.
The only other cost is your time.
Everyone of us, no matter how busy we are, has enough time to spend a small amount of it helping others. Volunteering to help those in need or to improve our community is one of the most satisfying and rewarding ways to spend our time. It only takes an average of five to seven hours per month to be a contributing member of a Lions Club. You are not obligated to work on every project or participate in every Lions event. Every Lion volunteers what time he or she canand the vast majority of Lions members feel they get much more out of their service experiences than they put into them.
