Activity Toolbox
Putting together activities can be a very demanding and time consuming job, especially for smaller clubs with limited resources. Our thought was, "Why reinvent to wheel?". In this Toolbox, we have created smaller Tool Kits, grouped by category, which we hope will be useful to all Lions Clubs. In each Tool Kit, we have basically provided a recipe for putting together a particular activity, e.g., Basket Bingo. You will find things like suggestions for a location, who to contact for publicity, lists of items you will need, templates for handouts, and other similar items.
We do not pretend to know the best way to do everything, so these Tool Kits are based solely on our experiences in putting together the particular activity and are meant to be a guide and resource for other clubs attempting a new activity. We welcome any comments or suggestions. You might know a better way or have some other information that might be useful. Please let us know.
If your club has put together an activity that is not in our Toolbox and you feel your experiences and knowledge would be useful to other clubs, please feel free to contact us about submitting it for use in our Toolbox. We would gladly give credit to your club and provide a link to its web site.
